The Office of Parking Services provides safe, affordable and convenient parking for Temple University. Temple maintains more than 5,000 parking spaces in various permit- and access-controlled and self-automated facilities throughout its campuses.

Shuttle Services
Flight is Temple University’s nighttime fixed-route shuttle loop service. Flight-branded shuttles circulate throughout the areas within and surrounding the main campus patrol zone and pick up and drop off students at each of its over 40 stops. The shuttles arrive approximately every 15 minutes at each stop, and you can track the locations of each shuttle in real time using the TransLoc app.

With approximately one-fifth of Temple University's greenhouse gas emissions attributed to transportation, the way we move about has a great impact on the environment. FAQs
Do I have to park in one location?
Yes, you're permit is valid at one parking lot/garage.
Will there be a guaranteed spot for me in my location?
If you have monthly or semester parking, you will always have a space available in your specified parking facility. Flex parkers may be directed to an alternative location if there is no space available in your assigned parking lot/garage.
Do I receive an assigned space with my parking privileges?
No, you are not assigned a specific space in your assigned parking lot/garage. You may park in any available space that does not have signage restricting certain vehicles (examples: Reserved, Handicapped, etc.). However, you must park in your assigned parking lot or garage, as your permit is only valid for one facility unless otherwise noted.
Can I use my parking plan without my assigned permit?
Your permit and current Temple ID card are your means of admission to your assigned parking lot/garage. The permit must be displayed at all time from your rearview mirror. The absence of your permit and Temple ID card will result in an assessment of the daily cash rate.
Is my vehicle information required during purchase?
You will need to provide the make, model, year, color, and license plate number when purchasing your parking permit. You do not need to provide your registration information when purchasing online.
Can freshmen bring their cars to campus?
Yes, freshmen are welcome to bring their cars to campus and can purchase parking permits online or at our office on the first floor of the Montgomery Garage.
Do you offer a discount for weekend parking?
Yes, students without a registered parking plan can purchase a Weekend Parking Pass, valid from 3:00 PM Friday to 8:00 AM Monday, for $30. Students can also purchase a Weekend Parking Pass for their guests. Passes are available every weekend and can be purchased at the Parking Services Office in Montgomery Garage, M-F, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Shuttle Services FAQ
What is the difference between the OWLoop and TUr Door Shuttle services?
The OWLoop operates on a regular designated route and circles the entire Main Campus area every 30 minutes (approximately). The TUr Door service begins at the Transportation Hub at 12th St. & Polett Walk and will take students directly to their off-campus residence as directed. These trips are one-way, off-campus only and no stops between Main Campus and residences are permitted. Both services operate 7 days per week between 5:30 and 6am except for winter break and Spring Break during the Academic year.
Does Temple offer Shuttle service between Main Campus and Temple's Center City Campus (TUCC)?
Currently, Temple does not offer any services; however, there are a variety of options offered by SEPTA to get between Main Campus and TUCC.
