Introduction to Off-Campus Living

The mission of Off-Campus Living (OCL) at Temple is to enhance student belonging and connectedness to Temple, educate students on prioritizing the safety of self and others, and support the development of the lifelong skill of being an engaged community member. Our goal is to support you through your entire college experience no matter where you choose to live. Off-Campus Living is a part of Temple University’s Christopher and Julie Barnett Essential Needs Hub.
What can we help you with?
- We provide resources and support for students living off-campus
- We manage the off-campus listing website with up-to-date rental options in the community which can be filtered by price, bedrooms, Best Nest status, etc.
- We offer consultation services for students and families with questions about the off-campus living experience
- We sponsor events like our twice-annual Off-Campus Housing Fairs to provide as much support and information as possible to Temple students about transitioning into living off-campus
Off-Campus Living at Temple hosts webinars and other events: follow the Essential Needs Hub (@templeessentialneeds) for updates on any upcoming events!
